Freshly retired in 2022 from decades of counseling practice, many of the verbs remain the same: cultivating presence, seeing in, uncovering. Habits of acute observation and contemplation now meet with excellent training, artist community, and commitment to expanding my knowledge and skill. Learning solvent free oil painting approaches while looking more deeply into the world of other’s work (and related writing) is exhilarating. Attending to the seen, a way into the unseen, perhaps, enlivening giants.
