The Gallery at OSA is thrilled to present the Water Media Exhibition, a celebration of the versatility and expressive power of water-based media. From the delicate transparency of watercolor to the bold opacity of gouache and the dynamic textures of acrylic and pastel, this exhibition highlights the endless creative possibilities of water-soluble materials.
The juror for this show is Terry Miura. Miura, a graduate of Art Center College of Design, began as a freelance illustrator in New York before transitioning to full-time painting on the West Coast. His evocative landscapes, cityscapes, and figurative works blend representation with memory and emotion, emphasizing atmosphere and abstraction. Miura’s work has been widely exhibited, including his solo show Urban Aria in San Francisco, and is represented by galleries in California, Boston, and Sacramento.
