That Spark of Being

In the spirit of “travel to where you are”, landscape views within 1,000 feet of my studio began to take shape during early 2024. Photographs taken on foot, then Notan ink and gouache studies led to the larger gouache and oil paintings on linen. One means of reveling in the spark of being that shows up, from time to time.
